So here I am on wordpress. From Blogspot to Xanga to WordPress. I must have serious commitment issues or something.

I decided that I MUST write. Even if it’s pointless and a waste of time. I’ve tried rantblogging, videoblogging, and now I’m gonna attempt… MAKE UP BLOGGING!!!! YAYYYYY.

Why? You ask with a cynical lift of your right eyebrow? Because dearie. I have too much makeup. Checkitout.

This is how much I have.

This is how much I need. Daily eyeliner and clear gloss.

But of course I have to go out and buy more because I can’t resist the lovely rovely packaging and marketing tactics. Screw those marketing tactics. But since I have so much makeup, I might as well review them to help some people on the fence about buying them.

So my new toy is the Kat Von D True Love eyeshadow palette in Ludwig. It comes in this nice little wrapped box and the case is really pretty with the screen printed roses.This is the only palette in the series that doesn’t come with any cream-based colors, I avoided those because I heard that the cream dries out and becomes a pain to use.

Here’s a quick swatch of it. It’s not a very good photo but the pigmentation is really nice!!! A lot of fallout, though. I think that’s just cause of the brush I’m using, though. I bought it from Sephora cause I heard the brushes that come with the palette are shitty (They ARE).

Overall, considering the price (34USD) and the amount of shadow you get (8 x 1.4g) I’d give this a 9/10. If you’re looking for new eyeshadows, you should go down to Sephora and get one of these, they’re quality and fairly priced.
